Dance Dance Revolution is a game by Konami in which you follow arrows on the screen and dance on a platform. Most of the songs are from the Euro Dance genre. There are currently 8 mixes of the game with hundreds of songs spanning from the 90's to now.

DDR was created in Japan, where European music is very popular. Also interactive games like DDR are common there.

The game has been spread around the world and is in many video arcades in the USA and also available for the Sony Playstation home gaming system.

Some people think it's weird; some think it's cool. One thing for sure is that you will get more excercise playing this game than if you play most any other!

Some of the artists featured on DDR are: Me&My, Captain Jack, E-Rotic, Bambee, Smile, Aurora, Sonic Dream, Tess, Miss Papaya, Rebecca, DJ Aligator, Tiggy, and 2 Unlimited. Of course many Japanese artists are included.

Visit www.ddrfreak.com for more song lists, step charts, game locations, tournaments, and information!

Dancemania is a series of CD Compilations featuring many of the tracks from DDR, other interactive games, and many other songs as well. Definately check these out at the online stores, especially HMV.
